Dr. Elise Mecham, MD

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr. Elise Mecham, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon, a Utah Valley native, and the mother of five amazing children.

Dr. Mecham received her Bachelor’s of Science at Utah Valley University, and became one of the first students to go on to medical school from the biology department. After graduating from the University of Utah School of Medicine in the top five of her graduating class with AOA, a national honor for medical students which promotes student leadership, community service, and excellence in academics, she completed her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She then went on to finish an additional year of fellowship training in microvascular reconstruction for cancer patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Her training reinforced the critical importance of therapeutic doctor-patient relationship as well as the collaborative approach to medical decision making and surgical outcomes.


Dr. Elise Mecham, MD, is a highly skilled authority in the field of plastic surgery, specializing in cosmetic surgery, massive weight-loss body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and reconstructive procedures.

Her approach emphasizes creating healthy independence through nutrition and education, achieving congruence between your inner and out self, and fostering healing through trust and therapeutic relationships.

Lindsay Nyman, NP

Lindsay is a Nurse Practitioner with 12 years of plastic surgery experience. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008.  She enjoys the outdoors, baking bread, and traveling the world.  When she’s not working, she’s running around her three daughters and supporting her firefighter husband.  

Lindsay has a passion for taking care of women and helping them feel better whether that is helping them through their journey of cosmetic surgery or breast cancer treatments, injectables, weight loss, and women’s health.  Lindsay is well versed in providing bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).  Lindsay feels strongly that women should feel their best through  all stages of life and shouldn’t have to suffer through perimenopause or  menopause.
